We live in a time when we look for pleasure and avoid discomfort. There is no coming to Consciousness without discomfort. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul and discomfort. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness Conscious. We are love, light, and we are divine and yet we have forgotten this. Instead, we perpetually loop and repeat and listen to the endless distraction that does not return us to silence.
This voice in our head is our ego - it loops and repeats and gives us a false sense of our true essence! Our ego does not want us to awaken. Our ego is preoccupied with its own survival. It would rather keep us asleep. I see organic ancestral medicines as a tool teaching us how to deal with the ego, help me wake up, and see the distraction and destruction of my own ego…but it is not a miracle pill, it is still up to you to do the inner work.
This is a very sacred, private, personal, transformative retreat. Bring your senses under control. Truly live within your heart, feel from your heart, do not think your way through. When the Kundalini sees that you are divinely seated within your heart, she becomes your lover. This is not about endless details, this is about letting go and letting love take over. Surrendering is very counter-intuitive for most people.
These sacred medicine ceremonies in other facilities are normally done with 80 to 100 people at once. To do this in a small group of 10 people is a blessing. Experiencing gratitude is one of the most effective ways of getting in touch with your soul. When you experience the presence of your soul, you experience the wisdom of the soul versus the ego. The illusion of separation disappeared. We experience oneness and the universal intelligence becomes our guide and healer.

I spent many years with a spiritual Guru. For many years I sat by the feet of my Guru chanting and now I understand what a gift she gave me. I experienced my first shaktipat at age 23. I have meditated for 42 years. I’ve had 37 years of channeling Dr. Williams, an enlightened spiritual entity. I was initiated into sacred medicine by a man called Cesar in 2018.
The plant medicine rewired the neuropathway connections between my stomach, brain, and heart. In 2019 I had a full Kundalini experience for 4 hours and 6 months later I imploded into the presence of my Inner Self and I’m now fully realized.
These sacred plant medicines gave me an experience I can only describe as universe intelligence guiding me into self-love. All the knowledge I had gained in this lifetime slowly was released as I gradually got absorbed by the intelligence of my soul.
For each sacred medicine evening, I created my own music playlist with a specific frequency that resonates with each medicine. This music play list is private and has copyright issues. It can not be shared. I do not take sacred medicine, but I become the medicine during the ceremony. I’m neither this nor that. I am everything and I am nothing.
Perlita and I are certified from the “Instituto Tzapin De Medicinias Complementarias”. I am registered and recognized as the only white male in Mexico shamanism, naturalism, energy healing therapies, and to facilitate plant medicine ceremonies in Mexico.

The 2022-2023 Bart Smit Sacred Medicine Retreat is located at an unique healing resort and spa, just outside Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The diet for the week is “supreme yummy vegan/vegetarian”. It is totally complementary to Bart’s retreat. It is an auspicious location for meditation, reading, body restoration, and soul awakening. It is like a “jungle ashram”.
